There are not too many sales professionals that jump on the candle selling bandwagon. Most network marketers lean towards weight loss, domain hosting, or even cosmetics before they consider promoting something very basic and fundamental to every house. This could be very beneficial though since it is not an overly saturated niche. The competition isn’t too fierce if there is any competition at all. A distributor should consider his or her own interest in the candle business. Many would say that mainly women sell candles. But the candles that I’ve bought in the past are from a man selling candle scents and burners from the back of his truck.
Personally, if I were to join a candle/bath/body company Gold Canyon would be on the top of that list. I’m still shocked by the amount of people that forget to polish up on their customer service skills prior to joining a network marketing company. Without personal branding, personality, product familiarity, and genuine care for the customer’s experience in the whole process of sampling and purchasing it would be quite challenging to build a list of prospects to market to.
Without a list of potential candle consumers or possible representatives, the success of your Gold Canyon business is in dire jeopardy. Many people get intimidated or overwhelmed by the absence of individuals on their list. They also get intimidated by the opportunity to create a list of leads using social media and internet marketing. The tasks that come with that concept can seem endless but all those worries can actually be alleviated with consistent action and a moderate amount of coaching in the marketing aspect. Let’s face it. The internet is simply a tool or platform to meet people. People will always be people. Marketers just have to know the balance of being personable and professional.
